Mark Twain's classic American story comes to musical life as rascally Tom, ragamuffin Huck, beautiful Becky and all their familiar friends happily play out their high jinks of youth and rebellion along the banks of the old Mississippi while searching for buried treasure and high adventure.

A musical Easter drama. Told from the viewpoint of a shepherd, it chronicles the life of Jesus from his birth through his crucifixion, burial and resurrection, ending on a triumphant note of glory.

The Musical is a satirical black comedy that premiered in 2001, with music by Mark Hollmann , lyrics by Hollmann and Greg Kotis, and book by Kotis. It satirizes the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, bureaucracy, corporate mismanagement, and municipal politics.
