Individualised Support Within a Mainstream School Environment
We support students who require additional academic, behavioural, and developmental support to access learning successfully.
Our students remain part of the wider school community and follow the Cambridge Assessment International Education curriculum where appropriate, with structured, individualised support layered on through a personalised programme.
Our approach is holistic. We support not only academic progress, but also communication, social development, behaviour, and independence - ensuring each student is equipped for meaningful, real-world success.
Who We Support
We work with students in:
- Primary School: Years 2–6
- Secondary School: Years 7–13
Our support is suited to students who:
- Experience learning challenges or academic gaps
- Require support with attention, behaviour, or emotional regulation
- Present with autism or other developmental differences
- Benefit from a more structured, individualised approach
While each student is different, they typically share one thing in common: they are not yet able to cope independently in a fully mainstream environment.
Our Approach
Students are supported within the broader school environment, with structured support in place to help them access learning and participate meaningfully. Students are not removed from the school environment. Instead, we:
- Embed them within the life of the school
- Provide the level of support they need to succeed
- Gradually build independence over time
Each student follows an Individualised Education Plan (IEP), developed through a comprehensive assessment process and tailored across:
- Academics
- Behaviour
- Social and communication skills
- Functional learning and life skills
Our goal is always to meet students where they are - and move them forward.
Support Pathways
We offer two structured support pathways, depending on each student’s level of need:
Full Support Placement
For students requiring more intensive, ongoing support:
- Individualised support throughout the school day
- A dedicated learning support assistant working under our supervision
- Access to adapted academic and developmental programmes
- Opportunities for supported inclusion in mainstream classes where appropriate
Hybrid (Transitional) Placement
For students working towards greater independence:
- Primarily mainstream placement
- Targeted support in specific subjects or areas of difficulty
- Continued assessment and IEP-driven intervention
- A focus on building independence and full integration over time
Integrated Support
Support is coordinated and consistent across the school day.
We work closely with in-house therapists, including Speech and Occupational Therapy, to ensure that developmental goals are aligned with classroom learning and everyday functioning.
For older students, we incorporate the ASDAN framework to support the development of practical life and vocational skills, with opportunities for certification.
Availability
We accept applications throughout the year, depending on space within each support level.
Some programmes may have limited availability. Where necessary, students are placed on a waitlist and contacted as space becomes available.

I collaborate closely with learning support staff, mainstream teachers, and extracurricular instructors to adapt instruction, respond to students’ evolving learning needs, and ensure consistency in support across all environments. I also provide staff training, liaise with parents to maintain strong home-school communication, and help guide the school’s inclusive practices and student-support frameworks. Through this work, I am committed to fostering a caring, responsive environment where every learner is understood, encouraged, and equipped to grow into their full potential."

In this capacity, I collaborate with external educational organizations to bring in resources and professional learning that build the school’s capabilities across both mainstream instruction and student support services.
